Seasonal Gratitude Garland Activity for Self-Awareness & Mindfulness

We’ve come up with a festive twist on our Gratitude Garland Activity Pack. Make it seasonal!
A gratitude garland craft activity is a wonderful way for students to practice mindfulness and reflection while fostering a positive classroom environment. By writing what they are grateful for on paper strips and linking them together, students not only engage in a creative, hands-on project but also build emotional awareness and empathy. This activity encourages them to think about the positive aspects of their lives, promoting a sense of well-being and connection with their peers. Additionally, displaying the garland in the classroom serves as a visual reminder of gratitude, enhancing the overall atmosphere of appreciation and kindness.
Celebrate the seasons in your program this year by encouraging your group to reflect on what they are most grateful for. Your students can jot down what they are thankful for during each time of year, including Fall and Thanksgiving, Christmas, Winter, and Valentines Day! For instance, in the winter, they may appreciating family gatherings, hot cocoa, and even skiing.
Our exclusive Gratitude Garland Activity Pack includes 500 colorful paper strips (measuring 1” x 8”), 12 non-toxic glue sticks, activity guide. You can use any markers you want for the activity. We paired this set with our favorite Color Splash!® Broad Line Marker.
