Whether you’re planning a trip to go pumpkin picking this fall or you just want to make the most of the season by getting creative it’s a great way to have fun while you practice using scissors and coloring skills.

Pumpkin Patch Craft for Kids
There are certain things about fall that always end up on bucket lists, watching the changing colors of the leaves, enjoying a pumpkin spice latte or hot chocolate and of course visiting a pumpkin patch
They’re a great excuse for some time outside and you can use your pumpkin for making pumpkin soup, pumpkin pie or carving for a Jack o’lantern.
This printable has two pages for you to download and color. The first page has loads of items from your pumpkin patch on it with a wheelbarrow, spade, boots and of course plenty of pumpkins while the second page is a background scene that you’ll be adding them to.

Craft Supplies Needed

Pumpkin patch craft PDF
White paper
Scissors
Glue
Coloring pencils, colored markers or crayons

Cut and Paste Pumpkin Patch Craft
To get started print out both pages of the PDF file. You can use normal printer paper for this activity but if you want to make it less likely to get torn you might want to opt for thicker paper or cardstock.

Next grab your pencils or markers and color in the items on the first page and the pumpkin patch scene on the second page.
Grab your scissors and cut out all of the items for your pumpkin patch following the dotted lines around each piece.

Put a little bit of glue on the back of each item and then glue it into place on your field page. You might want to start with the larger pieces first such as the ‘pick your own pumpkins’ sign to ensure that you have room for everything.

More Fall Crafts for Kids
I love sharing fall crafts and it’s such a fantastic time of the year for inspiring children due to the changes in nature that are all around them.
These fall leaf suncatchers were one of my kids favorites to make and stayed up in our windows for ages. They’re great for practicing fine motor and scissor skills and for learning about color mixing too.

We have loads of free templates which are great for using as coloring sheets or trying out some simple crafts together.
This hedgehog template is a really fun to decorate and use creatively, you could try making paper spikes, adding real leaves or using handprints like we did here.

If you’re learning about pumpkins then why not check out our free printable build a pumpkin craft? This is designed to be two sided so that you can see both the inside and outside of a pumpkin.
